Crush: In The New Age

Hello All,

I am so excited that this is my first official blog. My cousin and I were talking, and she told me that one topic that has been on her mind was how to talk to a crush.

Let me tell you, today in the technology age, it is so much easier for you guys to talk to your crush. The internet is a wonderful place to do this. Back in the day, the number one way to talk to your crush was through paper notes. One of the most famous ways we may all be familiar with is the note referring to “do you like me check yes or no.” Now, this game has been brought to a whole new level.
Yes, girls still laugh and act goofy around a boy she likes, and yes, a boy wants to hit the girl he likes, but I would like to introduce you to a different technique. How about you shoot a message on a social networking site and say hello?

That’s it!

The reason I say do it this way is because its casual, it’s not too personal, and its a great way to introduce yourself. If your crush doesn’t say anything back, or come off as being very short with you, then guess what? It was really no harm done to you because you aren’t in front of a bunch of people, and you aren’t going to feel embarrassed.

I love this way also because, if you have ever talked to someone on, lets say FB, and then in real life they don’t talk to you, you still aren’t embarrassed because no one will know what you guys talked about.

You can also flirt, share some common interest, and talk about school to make it light and fun.

Another tip is to think about your crush in a fun manner, and not something serious because that is when you are going to make yourself nervous.

If there is something that you would like for me to address in a future blog, feel free to leave a message at

Peace and Love
