Ytube Vid of the Week: Real Booty Music

With all this twerking we’re doing to these bass savy beats, creators might as well let the booty do all the talking for a chance. That’s exactly what Lisbon, Portugal producer Branko took on as a project given from AIAIAI headphone company. “We [AIAIAI] wanted to do this in an unusual way, which brought about music made by the booty – for the booty.”

The YTube Vid of the Week is AIAIAI’s unique advertisement for their new headphones.

It’s amazing that someone could make a song by shaking their booty. But I would like to hear more from this “amazing ass” because I’m not a fan of this actual beat, per say. Maybe they didn’t make another beat because they allotted time for Denmark’s leading booty shaker Louise Kjølsen to rest after all that rump shaking. In my opinion, if they threw in the phenomenal American bumpin booty duo, famously known as the twerk team, we’d have a full-blown instrumental tape ready for millions of people to get their hands on.

Imagine the songs you’d hear produced by rappers from their butts. Wowee haha.

Let’s hope I don’t spend all day today trying to make songs with my butt because of this video. Listen to the full track here on Doc’s Castle Media.

YTube Vid of The Week: Little Girl From Missy Elliott Videos Makes A Tribute

It was a shock to see Missy Elliott resurface during this year’s Super Bowl with Katy Perry. That was really something unexpected. I believe we should have more pop cultural surprises like it in the future. As I’ve kept up with the news about this neat act of wonder, we can all agree that there was someone missing from performance that we’d sure to see in any of Missy Elliott’s performances.

Where’s the little girl who dances in all her music videos?

Well, that little girl’s name is Alyson Stoner, and she was handling some business of her own, which is why she missed out on the performance. Stoner is pursuing her very own music career. Who knew?

I’ve always known Stoner for her many Disney appearances in films like Cheaper By The Dozen, and as Mike’s little sister Sally in Disney Channel Original Mini Series Mike Super Short Show. So it’s funny and kind of weird to see the hip-hop community discrediting and simply labeling her for her part in being that awesome dancing kid from Missy’s music videos.

Come on, guys! She’s so much more than that.

Here’s a list of Things I’ve known her to deserve credit for:

  • Cheaper By the Dozen (1 and 2)
  • Isabella from Phinese and Ferb
  • Sally from Mike’s Super Short Show
  • Wendy from Drake and Josh
  • Barbara Gordon from Young Justice
  • Connie from The Batman
  • Caitlyn from Camp Rock
  • Camille from Step Up (1, 3. and 4)
  • Kairi from Kingdom Hearts video game series
  • Background Dancer for Eminem, Outkast and Will Smith

She’s definitely more than just that dancing little girl. No wonder she missed the performance. Haha.

To make up for her absence, Stoner released a tribute video for the well-respected Missy Elliott via YouTube and that is why it’s Doc’s Castle Media’s YTube Vid of the Week.

She also has a music video out of her own. Check out her official music video for “Dragon.”

Did you see any of Alyson Stoner’s cameos throughout the years? Leave you comments below.

Get Hard: Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart Film Sure To Be Funny

While watching the Super Bowl Sunday game, I couldn’t help but notice Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart enjoying watching the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks battle for title of the 49th Super Bowl champions. Two of this country’s most popular comedians partaking in such a celebration together shouldn’t be odd at all. But I couldn’t help but question were these two expecting to release a movie together soon.

*My PR thoughts obviously kicked in thinking ‘I know they sitting together for promotional reasons. Woop-de-doo was I right?*

Get Hard, the next major comedy film featuring both Hart and Ferrell, is hitting theaters this spring.

The film looks like it’s sure to make me experience some body complications from laughing too hard. They’re too funny. I’m going to watch, indeed.

After the Super Bowl…

These funny two joined another funny man, Jimmy Fallon, on the Tonight Show in promotion of their film. I couldn’t help but share these men being goofy. They should have thrown Fallon in the movie too. Maybe that’s something that’ll be put into consideration later.

Baltimore Lip Syncing Contests is something I can definitely see myself investing time if someone chose to bring it to Baltimore. Can someone please throw an event like this?

YTube Vid of the Week: Saving the Drone

Well, it’s not too hard to notice that there’s a craving for a new form of technology lately. Over the holidays, we were shown there was an increase in the demand of a new electronic gadget. I’m talking about those fascinating Drones. Drones swept the US by storm this year as lots of American kids received them as gifts for Christmas.

Thousands of Drones were sold to the average household making it one of the worlds most sought after “toy” in 2014, and possible, the most sought after toy for decades to come. “Worldwide, drone spending is projected to double over the next decade from $6.4 billion annually to $11.5 billion each year, according to research firm the Teal Group.

I wonder what all the hype is about? Maybe I should get one.

Hearing about the hype of these drones has resulting in me finding this video of a man recording his first experience flying his drone. Midway through his flight, the drone begins to lose battery life and begins plummeting at high speeds to the ground. He must rush to save it before it collides to earth and leaving him dreading a short-lived adventure with his new toy.

Original Video:

The original video is quite funny but not as funny as websites like Huffington Post make it out to be. I’m more intrigued with remixes found on YouTube, like the one that follows.

The Whitney Houston addition:

It makes the Drone falling seem more dramatic doesn’t it?

Are you one of the many people who got a Drone for Christmas? Would you like one? Leave you comments below.

WDAA Update: Smoked Out On Pleasant Grove

Well, there’s more of something new from WDAA this week since the release of new works from artists 2 weeks ago. Thank you, thank you.

(Read “Baltimore @WarDrumz Artist Delay 2014 Anticipated Fall Projects” on Doc’s Castle Media)

First release this week came from WDAA’s trendy rapper Quinn Shabaz as he released some new artwork for us to gaze upon.

I don’t know what this photo is of but I’m well aware of the date! Haha.

Pleasant Grove is Quinn Shabaz’s new project. We haven’t heard from him since his debut to Doc’s Castle Media in September with his visuals for “Day One” featuring Jimmy Apoet and Leon Dominick. I’m glad to have finally seen he’s doing something new. Let us mark our calendars for March 24, 2015.

Mr. Tony Bonez Sinatra gave us something to hold us over, too. He did promise to release something this New Years Eve. But seeing as though it’s now New Years Eve and there hasn’t been any hint to anything new coming from him, I can assume his music video release to the War Drumz Twitter account is what we should be focusing on for the moment.

“Smoked Out” was put out to the public from the War Drumz Audio Art YouTube channel the day after Christmas. Since then, I’ve watched it once a day. The video makes me like the song that much more.

YTube Vid of The Week: Psycho Kid Torches Christmas Tree

Everyone spends their Christmas a bit differently. Apparently, this guy spends all his holidays being ungrateful and a bit crazy each time he doesn’t get what he wants.

Today’s YTube Vid of The Week goes to McJuggerNuggets as he made me laugh so hard on Christmas day. I watched his brother Jesse, who’s often seen as ungrateful in most of their YouTube videos, torch a Christmas tree because he didn’t get a Wii U game console for the holiday. But his brother got an Xbox One. He was jealous much!

Last time I visited their channel, I watched Jess ruin Thanksgiving dinner because his dad burned his Xbox console. So as I watched Jesse this go around, I found that I was not in awe as I seen Jesse ruin another festive holiday for his family. After watching the video, I assumed Jesse’s a hard core gamer because he goes all out for these consoles. Man, all you can do is laugh once you see his reaction this Christmas.

What do you think should have been done about this situation? Do you think Jesse deserved what he got? Leave your comments below.
